- Meals will packaged for a weeks worth of meals.
- We will do our best to stick to the menu, however, substitutions may need to occur due to product availability.
- Vegetables will be given out in bulk when possible.
- RMS students will have the option to include breakfast. This will be 5 breakfast items and 5 juices.
- Meals will be available for pick up Mondays at RMS from 5pm-6:30pm. **STARTING 11/9 pick up will be 4:30-5:30pm**
- A Google Form will be sent out every Thursday or Friday with a form for families to order meals for the following week.
- This form needs to be submitted by Monday morning, no later than 7:00am to ensure we have time to package meals.
- A letter will be sent to all remote learning families with these notes and more via email and will be posted below.
If your child has a food allergy, please contact Jamie Carollo at jcarollo@kinnschools.org for a list of ingredients for the items being served. School lunches are NOT allergen free.
Students are expected to have a positive lunch balance. You can email, jcarollo@kinnschools.org and request your child's lunch balance.
Heat at home instructions for items in sack meals:
**Heat all items to an internal temperature of 165 degrees**
Pizza Slice - Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Place pizza on a baking sheet. Frozen: Bake for 13-15 minutes. Thawed: Bake 11-13 minutes.
Tony’s Pizza (circle) - Place wrapped pizzas in prepared pans. For best results, cook from frozen state. Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F, bake 24-26 minutes. Microwave Oven: (1 portion ,unwrapped) Cook 2-3 minutes
French Toast Sticks - BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 10 MINUTES. OR MICROWAVE IF DESIRED.
Frozen Hashbrown - Standard Oven: Arrange frozen hash browns in a shallow baking pan and place in a preheated 450F oven. Bake until lightly browned and crisp, about 20 minutes
Popcorn Chicken/Chicken Nuggets - CONVENTIONAL OVEN: 8-10 MINUTES AT 400F
Frozen Veggies - Place in a minimum amount of boiling water. Cook from second boil until tender.
**In November - french toast sticks will no longer be available through our distributor. We will be switching to grilled cheese and potato wedges.**
Grilled Cheese - DO NOT REMOVE WRAP BEFORE HEATING. FROM THAWED STAGE: PREHEAT OVEN TO 325*F DEGREES, PLACE ONTO PAN AND HEAT FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES
Potato Wedges - STANDARD OVEN: 450 DEGREES F FOR 25-30 MINUTES.
